Louise Loh
Principal
Louise Loh has over 24 years of teaching experience, working with students from Kindergarten to Grade 9 in rural, urban, and international settings. She also served as Vice Principal of Namao School for two years. Louise holds a Master's in Educational Leadership from Yorkville University, a Bachelor's in Education from the University of Alberta, an Associate Diploma (ARCT) in Piano Performance, and has completed her Leadership Quality Standard (LQS) Certification.
As principal of Landing Trail School and Legal Public School, Louise prioritizes three key areas: building authentic, collaborative relationships within the school community, fostering quality student learning in a safe and caring environment, and sustaining evidence-informed teaching practices. She focuses on critical thinking, inquiry-based learning, and real-world applications to create meaningful learning experiences. Her leadership is centred around developing the capacity and collective efficacy of the school community through active collaboration with staff, students, and families.
Louise feels deeply honoured to lead Landing Trail School, where she began her teaching career 23 years ago. She is grateful for the opportunity to continue working with such a dedicated and supportive community.
